As you explore our region, we encourage you to talk to the locals. There are many more stories yet to be told, and our friends and neighbors are more than willing to “talk-your –ear-off”. Be fore-warned; if you stop someone and ask them about the area, the first word you may hear is “Sowhatchawannado” (That is ONE word in this part of Pennsylvania). Translated that reads as “So what you want to do” and this will surely be followed by a laundry list of places and events that make you feel right at home.

A simpler translation involves the love we hold for our community. Our enthusiasm is infectious, and we are certain that pleasant thoughts of our region will stay with you long after you return home.
