The Valleys of the Susquehanna is a 8-county area in central Pennsylvania where visitors and tourists can come and enjoy history, heritage, festivals, events, art galleries, themed roadtrips, shopping, wineries, plus so much more. The group that markets the Valleys of the Susquehanna is comprised of the six Visitors Bureaus representing the 10-county in the Valley’s region. Though the focus of this web site is themed roadtrips, there is something for everyone in the Valleys of the Susquehanna. What is a Visitors Bureau?

A Visitors Bureau is non-profit organization dedicated to promoting all the amenities and activities of a county or region to travelers, visitors and tourists. Visitors Bureaus publish information materials to promote such amenities and offer a variety of brochures, maps and information on the area they represent and often information on a variety of attractions throughout the state. The most popular publication is the annual Visitors Guide, which provides comprehensive information on events, attractions, history, heritage, outdoor recreation, sports, dining, shopping and overnight accommodations.
